jack1Jack: Straight from the Gut

By Jack Welch, John A. Byrne

retail_art_scienceRetail: the Art and Science – The Fundamentals of Retail Buying

By Daniel J. Moe

From a brand perspective, it’s always helpful to know how your retail buyer is managing their business.  This book is written by Dan Moe, a seasoned retail industry buyer currently with Best Buy (a DemandTec customer).  This book was required reading at DemandTec, and Dan came in for a day to share his stories with the company.  A fairly quick read, and worth the time.
